Required:
- Previous T5 rock scrambling experience! (Volcanic Neck at the Experience Field Trip does not count)
- Comfort on rock with LOTS of exposure!!
- Helmet
- Headlamp with good batteries
- Extra fresh batteries
- Harness (such as a webbing harness tied with a water knot)
- Locking carabiner (or 2 nonlockers)
- Cord loop (for a klemheist or prusik)
- NW Forest Pass for each vehicle (not a Discover Pass)
For safety reasons we'll only do this trip if there was zero rain in the prior 2.5 days, the rock is dry, and the forecast is rain-free...if the trip is canceled due to wet rock then there won't be a backup destination.
This is an after-hours evening trip, finishing in the dark.
Leave your ice axe at home!
Trip takes roughly 5 hrs from car to car.
Sunset is at 8:25pm.
We'll descend the easy trail down the north side of Guye.
Might need to allow extra driving time for rush hour.

When to meet:
We'll leave the cars and start hiking @ 4:30pm
