This is a mentored lead for Manisha Powar. Depending on the snow, we may find a boot path, or just navigate the snow to reach the Guye-Snoqualmie base. From the base, we’ll hang left to get to a basin as we head in the direction of Cave Ridge. From here, we will catch the ridge on our left to go up Snoqualmie. On the way back, from the Guye-Snoqualmie base, we’ll go to our right side, under a cliff band to get to a saddle. Summit of Guye is pretty much a straight line up from there, barring a large rock in our way – we’ll navigate around it to the right or left depending on snow conditions to reach the North summit of Guye. For any questions, contact Manisha Powar at manishap@live.com or phone at (425)445-3893 (email preferred). An alternate destination in case of nasty weather will be Bean on the East side. This would necessitate an earlier start time at a different meeting place.
