Fri night: Chatter Creek Campground (Icicle Creek Canyon).
Sat morning: Chatter Creek trailhead, 7:00am.
This is a glorious, rugged peak deep in Icicle Creek Canyon. Excellent physical conditioning & endurance are needed, as there is a snow traverse that requires good leg strength & solid ice ax self-belaying, after having ascended 4,000+ feet.
Pace will be moderate with plentiful food / water breaks, to ensure full strength of the party for the snow traverse. Hence the reason for the early start.
Car camping Fri night at Chatter Creek Campground is highly encouraged, for good night's sleep and also just for fun.
