Plan to arrive by 8am at Spray Park trailhead.

Most recent reports indicate that the road is in decent condition, but it might be slow going depending on the capability of your car.

We'll be doing a loop, starting with Fay Peak, through Knapsack pass, up Pleasant and Hessong, and finally down and out on the Wonderland trail through Spray Park. This is one of my favorite places in Rainier NP.

We'll set a moderate pace, but I am in no rush. Being a relatively short route, we should have plenty of time to stop and smell the wildflowers.

Covid precautions apply. Be aware that parts of the trail on the way out and the parking lot will likely be very crowded on a nice weekend, especially since the road just opened up.
