The destination is Point 6566, the benchmark noted as Barrier on Governors Ridge in MRNP. We will traverse this peak, which has awesome Rainier views, using car shuttle, starting at Cayuse Pass and ending at White River Ranger station. Distance is about 4-5 miles, with 2200' gain. Minimal brush on descent as there are good game trails to follow. I am going to estimate this will be a 2-3 or 2-4 scramble, but we won't know until we get there. Helmet and scramble harness with prusik loop required.
