7:30 AM at Carbon River Ranger Station
Exploratory scramble of Wallace and Tirzah Peaks offering great views south to Willis Wall, and west to the Puget Sound lowlands. Moderately strenuous trip of ~14 miles (due to washed out Carbon River Road) and 4000' elevation gain/loss. Added bonus is crossing of Carbon River foot log as well as sights of Chenuis Falls.
