Alpine Scramble - Esmeralda Peaks

I will be staying in Teanaway the night before.  I recommend you do as well since it is at least a couple of hours from Seattle but that choice is yours.

This is a great and reasonably straightforward rock scramble in Teanaway.  There is about a 3 mile trail approach before heading more or less straight up to the peak with some great views from the top.

It's going to be pretty hot out there, which is why we're getting such an early start.

I will be bringing my dog, Theo, who does scrambles with me pretty much every week.  He is great with adults and other dogs.  You are welcome to bring your dog provided it a) is people and dog friendly, b) has great recall, and c) has the stamina for this type of trip.  Also, if you plan on bringing your dog you need to let me know ahead of time.
