Dragontail (8840') is #26 on the Bulger Highest 100 list. This is a 5-5 scramble. It's gorgeous but you earn it! If you'd like to be on the trip, e-mail me and describe your experienced that will show me how you're capable and will be successful on this trip. Pace will be a fairly consistent high-moderate. Breaks will be short and possibly less frequent than on less lengthy scrambles. Efficiency will be important while we keep ourselves fueled and hydrated over the course of the day. Crampons, helmets, and diaper harness/biner/cord will be required. Headlights too. You may be asked to share carrying "group gear": water filter, rope? The early start strongly argues for traveling the previous evening - I anticipate camping in the vicinity. Final details will be e-mailed to participants once signup closes.
