Bean Creek Basin

Alpine Scramble - Devil's Head

Retreat from the much needed rain to the only semi-dry-ish place around! Primary goal is Devil's Head, but we will enjoy some great T3 rock on Bean along the way! Students welcome!

Bean Creek TH  in the morning. Details in trip plan. NW Forest or Parks Pass required.

The much-needed rain nixed my epic plans for Del Campo, so I figured I'd revisit a recently canceled destination. The priority is Devil's Head, which is a pretty ho-hum summit, but the one I need to do! We will take the fun route up Bean to get there.

No one should sign up expecting to do Volcanic Neck, but we do pass right by it, and if the rock is dry and the will is there... it's an option, but know that in all likelihood we will bypass it.
