We will spend the morning refreshing self-arrest and snow travel skills. In the afternoon, we will scramble to the top of Cowboy Mountain. This trip is intended for anyone who wants to refresh and practice their self-arrest and snow travel skills, including current students and past graduates.

This trip is ideal for students new to self-arrest and for graduates who haven't practiced their self-arrest skills in a while. We will spend the morning refreshing and practicing self-arrest skills. Everyone should practice their skills periodically. After lunch, we will head to the summit.
Note on pacing: we will move at a slow to moderate pace. If you are looking for an aerobic workout, find a different trip.
If you would like to be an assistant leader, let me know, especially if you are interested in becoming a scramble instructor or leader.
Brickyard Park and Ride lot near Woodinville, 7:00 am. Alternatively, if you notify me in advance, you can meet us at the Sultan Park and Ride lot at 7:40.
