COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers activity.
  • Technical 3, Strenuous 4
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 13.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,700 ft

Various P&Rs to suit attendees, then the end of the West Side road at 7:30am to prepare the car shuttle before proceeding to Longmire for the start of the trip.

Owing to the extra elevation gain and length of this trip (~13 miles and ~3700 ft) we will probably limit ourselves to Copper Peak but may include Iron as time and snow conditions allow.  Will give this one a go without snowshoes.
