7:15am Longmire.

We'll get permits and blue bags and either depart from there via the Wonderland Trail, or caravan back to Kautz Creek TH, depending on conditions and likely crowds. We may do a car shuttle and make it a loop.

Fall can be gorgeous at Mt. Rainier, and somehow we got a permit for 10 for the Pyramid Peak backcountry zone. This trip has been on my short list after seeing Pyramid Peak from so many angles on Rainier and the Tatoosh..., so let's go!

This is a priority scramble for KITSAP SCRAMBLE STUDENTS - with recent Kitsap grads and experienced scramblers 2nd.

If you are not with Kitsap, please do not reques permission until Sept. 1.

This will be exploratory for us, so we'll all pitch in for campsite selection, route finding, condition assessment, etc...

More info to come.
