Leader Permission Required

Due to the distance, gain and difficulty of this trip, leader permission is required.

  • The date may change (which unfortunately means so might my nice description...) so DO NOT contact me for permission before registration opens.
  • Assistant or co-leaders may request permission prior to registration opening.
  • No students, no exceptions!
  • You must have experience and confidence ascending and descending steep snow (up to 35 degrees). Your permission request should include a list of trips you have done that demonstrate this.
  • This will likely be a long, strenuous day,  likely taking 12+ hours. Your permission request should include a description of your recent conditioning plan and any recent trips with significant distance/gain.
