6:30 AM at North Bend
Cashmere Mountain has been called a "lonely giant" as it sits pretty much alone and just north of the Enchantment range. We'll leave early (6:30)on Saturday, drive to Leavenworth RS (2 hours) to pick up permits before driving to the trailhead and hiking into basecamp (5 miles and 3000 ft gain to Little Caroline Lake). Sunday we scramble to the summit (3.5 miles and 2200 ft gain) and back before packing up camp and heading home. I will hike out with the party but may return and to another lake to explore more of the area. Meet at North Bend Starbucks (near clock tower in Safeway Plaza)
