Alpine Scramble - Cabinet Peak

Milepost 147 on SR 20 at 8:00 am.

This is a great scramble, not done very often.  The views are tremendous.  There is no trail approach; it's a scramble right from Highway 20.

This is not a trip designed for students, but students who have done at least one scramble are welcome.

The pace will be on the slow side of moderate.

If the weather is not expected to be clear, I will choose an alternate destination; it's not really worth the long drive if we won't have views.

Please do not ask to sign up early.  I've already signed up several old friends, some of whom I haven't seen for several years, but I have to draw the line to give others a fair chance.  For the rest of the year, I'll be limiting early sign-ups to assistant leaders or co-leaders.
