A hard-to-beat beautiful yet strenuous scramble of ~13 miles/~4800' gain to summits of Burroughs (3rd, maybe 2nd as well), plus Skyscraper Mountain from the White River Campground.

Our day will begin and end at the White River Campground. After hiking the Glacier Basin trail we’ll then turn NW on the Burroughs Mt connector trail to ultimately reach 3rd Burroughs. From there we will visit 2nd Burroughs, followed by a cross country traverse to Skyscraper. Finally we hike the Wonderland trail through Berkeley Park to reach Frozen Lake and descend to reach our cars at the White River Campground. Photos from prior trips can be seen here.
