8:00 AM at Denny Creek TH
This is a classic scramble with close up views of nearby summits. Leave Denny Creek TH at 8am. 4 mi to Hemlock pass. This is where things pick up. We'll bushwhack 100ft through steep terrain of bushes and blueberry thicket to emerge at a clearing. Then ascent two talus fields and a summit block. Return route is a walk off. DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS: I-90 east to exit 47. Cross over freeway, turn right, and follow to Denny Creek TH. DISTANCE: 55 miles from Seattle 65th Park & Ride. DRIVING TIME: approximately 1 hr.
