We will stash bikes at the Denny Creek trail head and then drive to the Snow Lake trail head. We'll hike to Snow Lake, then proceed anti-clockwise around the lake to Gem Lake. We'll leave the trail there and scramble up to Chair Peak Lake and then over Melakwa Pass. We'll descend to the upper and lower Melakwa Lake where we regain a trail. We'll follow the trail to Hemlock Pass then leave the trail again to climb Bryant. Returning to Hemlock Pass, we'll descent along the trail past Keekwulee Falls to the Denny Creek trail head. We'll stash the packs, retrieve our bikes, and bike (uphill) to our cars. This is a dog-friendly scramble. Fit, well-trained dogs are welcome. Ideally, at least one person will volunteer to skip the bike ride and will patiently guard our packs while the drivers retrieve the cars. This route includes lots of rock.
