Alpine Scramble - Bryant Peak

Currently, the weather looks okay with a chance of afternoon showers and slight possibility of thunderstorms. Should the forecast deteriorate over the next few days this trip may be cancelled or relocated.

Please come prepared to help with route-finding. I have not been to Bryant and some reports describe tricky route-finding after leaving the trail at Hemlock Pass. After we leave the trail there will be a short section of bush-whacking and steep dirt followed by a boulder field and fun rock to the summit.

The pace will be steady but on the slow side of moderate.

More details will be sent to participants by Friday afternoon.

7:30am at the Denny Creek trailhead ready to hike.

Participants should organize their own carpools but I will send suggestions for meeting places based on where participants live.
