Alpine Scramble - Boundary Peak

The route includes steep snow (crampons required) and some exposed rock scrambling.

The  crux of the trip will be ascending a deteriorating snow bridge in the second gully beneath the Unicorn-West Unicorn saddle, crossing a growing moat,  and scrambling the steep rock to the saddle. Excellent trip reports by Kurt and Stephen provide a good description of the conditions.

If we cannot safely negotiate the snow bridge and moat we may change destinations to Foss Peak.

When requesting Leader Permission let me know about your previous experience on steep snow and rock.
