6:30 AM at Dingford Creek Trailhead
'Big fun on Big Snow' has been a title in mind ever since I came within several hundred feet of the summit a few years ago. Now that Taylor River Bridge is in, it’s time to go back. We will start at 7:00am with a 5 mile bike ride to the trailhead for Hardscrabble lakes. We will lock bikes to... something before heading up the trail. The route from there will not have seen much passage in a while so expect some brush and route-finding challenges. I expect that this will be a strenuous trip. The road to the trailhead cannot be driven at a fast pace so plan extra time to get to there. Some of us will be camping at the Dingford Creek trailhead on Saturday night. Bring ice ax, helmet, 10 essentials, and plenty of food. We will stop for water refills on occasion, but plan to carry at least 2 liters. Sign up with leader.
