8:00 AM at Cle Elum Safeway Parking lot behind Safeway gas pumps
Trip Agenda: We'll caravan to trail head from Cle Elum and set up camp Sat early afternoon for an overnight camp (possibly on snow) in the shadow of Bean Peak. We’ll attempt to summit Bean Sat. Sun morning we'll attempt to summit Earl Peak. Break camp Sun PM and return to Cle Elum by 5:00 or earlier. Required Gear: Helmet, ice ax, snow travel (snow shovel, gloves, hat, gaiters), and overnight camping gear. Meeting Point: Meet Sat 7/15/06 at 8:00 am at the Cle Elum Safeway parking lot. Take I-90 exit # 84. Another carpool location is from Federal Way – 348th St Park & Ride, 6:00 am sharp. I’ll meet you at Cle Elum the Safeway Parking Lot at 7:45 near the Safeway gas pumps and we'll depart 8:15 and caravan to the trailhead from there. My cell phone is 206-353-3778. Home phone is 253-631-4004. Each car at the trailhead needs a current NW Forest car park pass from any USFS Ranger Station.
