9:00 AM at Bean Peak TH
My plan is to ascend Bean Peak via the NW ridge from Bean Basin. Then, we'll descend Bean on it's NE ridge (the one that connects with Volcanic Neck). We'll then loop back around through upper Fourth Creek Basin and descend via Beverly Creek to the TH. Distance is about 7 miles with about 3000' gain. Larches might be in season! Poor weather will cancel . . . especially T-storms. Please note--the description of the trip from Gary Zink of the Tacoma branch is irrelevant to this particular scramble. It is somehow included in the route description as default text.
