Famous brush-bash-beginning leading to an exciting finale of some steep snow slopes! In addition to the normal ice ax, you should bring helmet, crampons, and diaper sling/hasty harness belay gear. While a classic, fun trip, this trip is both strenuous and technically demanding. If you have any questions or doubts please email the leader before signing up. Students are welcome, but must have enjoyed a previous snow scramble of at least S3/T3 (and wanted more). We'll try to keep a fairly steady moderate pace to the extent allowed by the terrain. Let's hope for better snow conditions than were faced by attempts earlier in the year! Snowshoes are optional. Trip date has been delayed by a day due to weather/avy concerns, will be evaluating avy risk as the day of the trip approaches.
