Alpine Scramble - Banshee Peak

This broad peak is just beyond Panhandle Gap by Mt. Rainier. Views are excellent of Mt. Rainier, Cowlitz Chimneys and surrounding area.

Here is the view from Panorama Gap, back at Rainier.We will meet at the Wonderland TH at Fryingpan Creek- 3 miles past the White River entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park at 8:00 AM. Park Pass is required for drivers. Those wanting to carpool I can meet at South Renton Park and Ride in the SE corner off Grady Way at 5:45 AM.  E-mail if you have another spot you would like to carpool from.

No crampons required for this trip, helmets optional; ice axes and 10 essentials are required.
