5:45 AM at Edmonds-Kingston Ferry
This trip takes us high into the Buckhorn Wilderness and then Olympic National Park. We will go above tree line onto a high ridge with sweeping 360 degree views of the north interior of the Olympic Mountains. Total gain is about 5000 feet, when Graywolf is added on to Baldy. As the trip nears we can consolidate carpooling for the ferry. And we can arrange a second meeting site along the way for those on the west side of Puget Sound. We will use the Maynard Burn TH (not marked on maps), which is south of Sequim. I expect to be at the TH around 8:00am.
