Alpine Scramble - Alki Crest

This will be a traverse from the Mowich Lake Road to the Carbon River Road along the route of the Boundary Trail, scrambling brushy terrain on the section where the trail is obliterated. No major views, but great navigation practice. The trip will require a car shuttle, or if another ambitious leader volunteers, we can do it as a key exchange.

This trip will only go if weather looks favorable.  Brush is one thing.  Cold, wet brush is entirely another.

If co-leader starts at Carbon River, that group will have close to 5000' gain, but we will save an hour in car shuttle time.
