Volunteers Needed: Committee Manual Assembly

We are putting together reference manuals for commonly asked questions our committee leaders have, and this is a simple volunteer task anyone can help with if they have time (and want pizza). Come up to the Summit room at the Seattle Program Center between 4:30 and 7:30 and lend a hand with putting "tabs" in each of the binders. Many hands will make for light work and you can stay as long - or short - as you'd like.

I have partially assembled 240 reference manuals for each of our committees to use when they have meetings. They are designed to provide an immediate answer to all of those random questions that come up so rarely that people can’t remember the answers and they help new committee members orient themselves to Mountaineers programs. Our volunteers reported they could use something that acted like a manual to help them understand their “jobs” with us.

We planned to have these all assembled by a team of volunteers from the United Way’s “Day of Caring,” 2 weeks ago, but the printer never finished the tabs and left out a number of sections. So we lost all that volunteer time (they assembled what they could). If any of you had the time/willingness to help insert the tabs into the manuals, it would greatly speed up our ability to get them into the hands of our volunteers who are gearing up for course season
