Craig Romano- Day Hiking: Mount St. Helens

Craig Romano is an award winning guidebook author who has written for over 2 dozen
publications and authored and co-authored 14 hiking guidebooks. Drawing from his latest book,
Day Hiking Mount St. Helens; through words and pictures Craig will spotlight St Helens' best
trails--from short scenic nature trails to multi-day backpacking adventures.

Who: All members and anyone interested in learning more about the Mountaineers are welcome. Free!  Just show up, sign up is not required.

What: The Monthly Meet the Mountaineers Adventure Speaker Presentation and Potluck. Bring a dish to share, your own plate and flatware. No paper tossing at our potlucks! Or just come to hear the Speaker at 7pm- your choice!

Where: Friends Meeting House, 3201 Boston Harbor Road. (From I-5, Plum Street, head north, left side, next to Priest Point Park)

When: The first Wednesday of the Month, September to May (excluding November), at 6:00 PM for a shared potluck and socializing hour, followed by an Outdoor Adventure Presentation at 7:00 PM

Why: Meet your fellow Mountaineers, share ideas, learn about others’ escapades and adventures, and connect with our great community of outdoor enthusiasts. (Librarian Maxine Dunkelman will have a selection of books available for checkout to Mountaineer Club members. Contact her at maxdunk@comcast.net if you have special requests.)
