6:30PM at the Newport Way Library, 14250 SE Newport Way, Bellevue, WA 98006. Orientation session and informational meeting for people who want to lead for the Backpacking Building Blocks course in 2016. Open to experienced backpackers from any branch who are interested in leading for the course!

Those who plan to lead backpacks for the Backpacking Building Blocks program in the upcoming season, or anyone who thinks they might like to lead more backpacks for the club, will get an opportunity to mingle with other backpack leaders and learn about the structure for the 2016 B3 program and leader expectations. We'll also begin to build our backpacking trip calendar for the upcoming season.
Mountaineers members who aren't yet certified as a backpack leader can get essential information and contacts at the meeting to get themselves certified.
Please register for the leader orientation if you are interested in leading for B3 in 2016, even if you can't attend the event - that way we have you on our email contact list for course planning.
