CANCELED - Ocean City State Park Car Camp

This is a weekend car camp, September 26-27, on the Washington Coast, consisting of a Saturday loop day hike around Damon Point, camping Saturday night at Ocean City State Park and hiking on Sunday on the Copalis River sandspit in Griffiths-Priday State Park.

We will meet at 11:30 AM Saturday at the entrance to the Ocean City State Park Campground, hike on Saturday around Damon Point, camp Saturday night at Ocean City State Park and hike Sunday on the Copalis River Sandspit at Griffiths-Priday State Park.  Following Sunday's hike, there will be an optional lunch stop at the Green Lantern Tavern in Copalis Beach.  Registration for this car camp is by registering for the Saturday September 26 Damon Point Day Hike and the Sunday September 27 Griffiths-Priday State Park Day Hike.  Leader permission is required to assure that everyone registering for one of the day hikes will also register for the other one and participate in the Saturday night encampment at Ocean City State Park.
