READ BEFORE REGISTERING

This Wilderness First Aid course is for MAC participants, kids age 14-18, and volunteers for Mountaineers youth programs (including parent volunteers/chaperones).

WFA for teenagers covers the same material in a way that is accessible to youth who may be new to biology & human anatomy, and in an environment that provides space for kids to ask questions and discuss some of the sensitive subjects that come up in WFA that they may not feel comfortable discussing in a room full of adults.

Priority registration will go to MAC youth participants through January 9, 2019. Volunteers are welcome to register after that date.

About the course:

Wilderness First Aid is a national certification that Outdoor Educators and Guides renew every two years. This course is offered specifically for teenagers who spend time outdoors or want to pursue Outdoor Education.
