You don't need to own a kayak or a sloop to get on the water with The Mountaineers. Our courses in sea kayaking allow you to rent a craft and our courses in sailing let you just step aboard one of our many skippers' sailboats. (More skippers have been added this year!)

Upon successfully graduating from sailing's basic crew course, you can sail for free with one of our many experienced, knowledgeable skippers, who are always looking for capable crew members. All it may cost you is a bit of grub and beverage for the captain. Tacoma and Seattle offer sailing courses. Register now.
