Legendary alpinist Dave Hahn will be guest speaker for the Annual Mountaineers Olympia Branch Banquet on Saturday, November 17.

The event will be held at St. Martin's University in Lacey and will begin with a 5 pm social hour. Dinner follows at 6, member recognition at 7:30 and Hahn, part of the expedition that found George Mallory's body in 1999, will speak at 7:45 pm.

A leader of many arduous rescues and winner of several bravery awards, Hahn has climbed some of the most unforgiving terrain in the most inclement conditions in the world.
