Hikers - Hiking Participation Award because your boots are made for hiking!A fabric Mountaineers Patch will be awarded to any member of The Mountaineers participating in five or more Tacoma Branch hikes and/or backpacks in any 12-month period. Eligible trips must be to different destinations, must be Branch-approved trips (listed in the Tacoma Hikes/Backpacks or Trail Maintenance listings of The Mountaineers Go Guide, or posted on the club website) and must be led by Tacoma Branch leaders.
The application process is straightforward: Participate in eligible Tacoma trips, send your list of the trips in and we?ll send your patch to you by return mail, so you can sew it on your pack, your hat, your jacket, or whatever, and hike in style! Your trip list should include your name, address, telephone & email address, and the date, destination & leader for each trip. Send your trip list to Mike Waiss, mwaiss@net-venture.com.
