The great outdoors is calling you, and your adventure starts right here, with guided explorations, fun workshops, and interactive exhibits packed with all things outdoors.
Presented by Washington Trails Association, TrailsFest is a hands-on event for all ages, providing adventurers with a fun and safe environment to explore the outdoors. This outdoor extravaganza features clinics on everything from predicting mountain weather, to hiking with kids, to ultra-light trekking. Take a guided hike, try fly-fishing, paddle a kayak or climb a rock wall. Visit the dozens of exhibitors, check out the latest outdoor fabrics and gear, and get suggestions from the experts on great places to hike.
TrailsFest is jam-packed with outdoor fun for everyone, from kids and families, to novice adventurers, to experienced hikers. Admission to TrailsFest is FREE!
The Mountaineers at Trailsfest! The Mountaineers will have a booth at Trailsfest, where we'll be continuing our Summer Bookstore Sale (see above) and giving out deals on new memberships. We'll also have some great Mountaineers authors on hand including Jeff Renner (Mountain Weather, KING 5), Craig Romano (Day Hiking: Olympic Peninsula, Columbia Highlands), Joan Burton (Best Hikes with Children) and Karen Sykes (Best Wildlflower Hikes in Washington, Seattle P-I).
