We know that several of you as Mountaineers are taking measures to abate excess use of energy and minimize your carbon emissions. It is not only done through your household habits but also through lifestyle modifications. The Mountaineer is working on a feature about how various Mountaineers have developed a plan in regard to reducing their carbon footprint. Have you seen the melt from the summit?
The Mountaineer is working on a series of reports on glacial melt as a result of global warming. We need the help of our fellow climbers and backcountry travelers to do this. Have you taken any photos over the years that demonstrate the melt on a particular glacier or glaciers? Do you have some other chronicles that demonstrate glacial recession over the decades.
