Mountainfilm on Tour is a mix of some of the best films from the Mountainfilm in Telluride film festival which is held every year in Telluride, CO. Mountainfilm features short films covering experiences in art, adventure, culture and the environment. Each year, Mountainfilm attracts filmmakers, photographers, conservationists, mountaineers and explorers from around the world with its motto "Celebrating Indomitable Spirit."
Each night of Mountainfilm on Tour will include eight or ten films shown over two-and-a-half hours (includes an intermission). There will be several short films (2 - 19 minutes), a few medium length films (20 - 35 minutes) and generally one longer film (35 - 60 minutes). The films may vary widely but may include topics of art, adventure, culture and environment. There will be different films each night. For an up-to-date list of each night's films visit the Outdoors for All website. For a trailer with samples of past films, visit the Mountainfilm website.
Thanks to a grant from The Raynier Institute & Foundation and contributing support from Stevens Pass, 100% of ticket sales will be dedicated to support Outdoors for All financial aid. Furthermore, any Outdoors for All participant who sells tickets to the shows will be able to dedicate their own ticket sales for their own tuition fees for programs.
