March 24: Passages Northwest Courage BenefitPassages Northwest Courage Benefit
March 24, 6-10 p.m.
Bell Harbor International Conference Center, Seattle
Webmaster's note: While this is not an official Mountaineers event, Passages Northwest is one of our favorite local non-profits, and we encourage you to support them. They run amazing programs for helping local girls and young women learn confidence and leadership skills.
Passages Northwest is hosting its 10th annual Courage Benefit on March 24, 2007 at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center in Seattle. The event will include live and silent auctions, a dessert dash and an opportunity to Sponsor-A-Girl for a Passages Northwest program. Last year, the Courage Benefit raised $135,000 including $30,000 in scholarships.
There are a variety of ways to be involved: host a table of 10, donate an item to the auction, volunteer, or attend and become part of the Passages Northwest community. General tickets are $100. VIP tickets are $150 and include priority seating, express registration and parking.
Contact Laurie Johnson at laurie@passagenw.org or 206.286.8601 for tickets and more information. Or to volunteer, contact the volunteer coordinator, Kate Blackman at outreach@passagesnw.org.
Passages Northwest is a Seattle-based nonprofit that inspires courage and leadership in girls through the integrated exploration of the arts and the natural environment. See their website, www.passagesnw.org, for more information.
