Passages Northwest's program Women in Nature is seeking two volunteer mentors.
Women in Nature is a program designed for women experiencing any of lifes transitions. The trips promote self-reflection and provide participants with opportunities to experience the natural environment in a supportive community of women. Mentors lead 3-4 hiking and snowshoe trips a year (on weekends). In addition, there are 5 meetings each year and one daylong training retreat. Mentors also communicate about the program to interested participants and an agency that serves women who might be interested in the program. We are especially eager to recruit women of color as mentors.
