On October 8, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake hit Pakistan, 80km north of Islamabad. As a result of this terrible event, many are without shelter in the face of an oncoming Himalayan winter.
The Mountaineers is asking all of its members and the Northwest community to donate tents, blankets, sleeping bags, and other survival items.
