Discover the legendary Elwha River
A dam removal and a river reborn in Seattle’s backyard!

One of the most revolutionary restoration projects ever undertaken will soon begin on the Olympic Peninsula’s Elwha River. Two big dams will be torn down so that the river’s salmon can return for the first time in 100 years. Find out from Elwha River experts how you can experience this beautiful river for yourself. Learn about the river’s rich culture and history. Plus, hear how you can be part of this inspiring river restoration effort!

When: Wednesday, August 24, 2005 from 7 – 8 pm
