Experience Olympic National Park through place names, images and stories

What’s in a name? Let Lisa Eschenbach, a former Olympic Park ranger, take you on an armchair tour of Olympic National Park. Explore the history and stories that have left their mark through the unique area place names such as Hurricane Ridge, Kalaloch, Staircase and Grey Wolf. Come if you are an Olympic Peninsula buff, a hiker, backpacker, paddler or angler, or if you are new to the Peninsula and want to learn more about this World Heritage Site and Biosphere Reserve right out Seattle’s front door!

When: Thursday, June 30, 2005, from 7 – 8 pm
