Jeff Renner: Mountain Weather

 Jeff Renner, the well-respected and award-winning meteorologist from KING 5 TV, will be reading from his new book, "Mountain Weather," published by Mountaineers Books.
Renner will review some of the key local weather patterns that impact outdoor activities in Washington State, such as the Puget Sound Convergence Zone. He'll also talk about thunderstorm safety, finding the best snow and other topics to help you become weather-smart.
In addition, he will show you how to obtain useful weather information from the internet, walking you through a sample exercise to develop a forecast and make a go-no-go trip decision.
