World-renowned Canadian mountaineer and backcountry skier Chic Scott will present two evening programs on backcountry skiin and climbing in Western Canada. An important player in the history of Canadian mountaineering and skiing, Scott has an impressive background of first ascents, ski traverses and difficult peaks from around the world. He is also the author of two skiing guidebooks for the Canadian Rockies, as well as author of Pushing the Limits, an encyclopedic history of Canadian mountaineering.
