Join us for a special presentation of Jim WhittakerÂ’s inspirational life story - A Life on the Edge - in honor of the anniversary of his historic first American ascent of Mt. Everest on May 1, 1963. A panel discussion featuring Jim (a member of The Mountaineers since 1944), Peter Whittaker and Ed Viesturs will follow the presentation. A meet and greet and book signings will conclude the evening.
Admission: $10 Mountaineers members / $15 non-members. Tickets available at The Mountaineers Program Center, online or by calling 206-521-6001, and at the door. Food and drinks will be available for purchase before the show.
