Formidable hunters and powerful swimmers, polar bears are perfectly adapted to the harsh demands of the wild Arctic landscape. They are also widely considered to be an indicator species with regards to the effects of climate change. In The Last Polar Bear (Braided River), photographer Steven Kazlowski brings this critical issue to life with his unparalleled imagery. He spent over eight years following the charismatic white bears from Herschel Island in the Yukon to Point Hope in Alaska.

Join us for a spectacular and unique journey into the world of polar bears. With a perspective not many others can claim, Kazlowski offers an understanding of the animals' fragile existence on the edge of survivial. Kazlowski will be showing some brand new images that aren't in his book, and talking about his last two years of research among the bears. Tickets are on sale now - get your soon!
