The American Lung Association in Washington and mountaineering legend, Lou Whittaker, will host an informational meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28th to provide details about the 23rd annual Climb for Clean Air. The meeting will take place at the Lung Association office at 2625 3rd Avenue in Seattle.

The Climb is a 4-day guided adventure to the summit of Mount Rainier held each July. All monies raised from the event go toward fighting lung disease such as asthma, lung cancer, COPD and emphysema as well improving air quality across the state. Meeting attendees will hear from Lou and 2009 C4CA climber Don O’Neill of KIRO Radio’s Ron & Don Show , along with other climbers, event staff and volunteers.
