This is an evening workshop for those who have recently obtained a GPS receiver (or are thinking about getting one) and would like to learn to use it more effectively. The workshop includes outdoor exercises in the vicinity of The Mountaineers Clubhouse at Magnuson Park. We will cover the basics of how to get your GPS up and running and useful features. We have a limited number of loaner GPS units for students, so registrants for the course must bring a GPS receiver with them or contact hikermountaineer@verizon.net to put a reservation in for one of the loaners. $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
