2/20: The Traverse of a LifetimeThe Traverse of a Lifetime
A Photo Essay by Steph Abegg
8 p.m. - FREE SHOW
Tacoma Clubhouse, 2302 N. 30th St, Tacoma

Steph Abegg chronicles her 8-day, 77-mile traverse of some of the most rugged and beautiful parts of the Olympic Mountains - into the mysterious Valhallas, climbing Mt. Olympus, traversing the rugged Bailey Range, and hiking on the popular High Divide. Steph’s trip was inspired by numerous stories, recollections and faded photographs from her parents who climbed much of the same terrain a generation earlier, though not in a single trip! Steph’s stunning photography captures the raw majesty and ruggedness of the Olympics, and her night photography is awe-inspiring.

The Tacoma Branch will also be selling Olympics-related titles from Mountaineers Books. Cash or check only.
